Gnocchi with sage, butter and parmesan
Super-quick filling supper - ideal before a big night out! This is the sort of fast food we love.
Vegetarian & vegan dish
Large knob unsalted butter
Grated parmesan (vegetarian versions available)
Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil
Melt the butter with the sage in a frying pan over a low heat and cook gently for 2 minutes.
DROP When the water is boiling, drop in the gnocchi, stir well and cook for 2 minutes. The gnocchi are ready when they float on the surface.
Drain the gnocchi in the colander or sieve.
Add the gnocchi to the frying pan with the butter and sage. Stir well. Sprinkle with parmesan and a grind of black pepper and serve immediately.
