Quick and simple to put together, you can prepare this dessert several hours in advance, or even the night before.

  1. Separate the eggs. Cream the egg yolks with the sugar. Add the mascarpone and amaretto liqueur and beat to a fluffy mixture.
  2. Whisk the egg whites to soft peaks. Fold into the mascarpone cream with a metal spoon.
  3. Spoon the cream into individual glasses and refrigerate for at least a couple of hours.
  4. Just before serving dust with cocoa powder and arrange 2 amaretti biscuits on top of each glass.
