  1. Bring a large saucepan of salted water to the boil
  2. When the water is boiling, add the spaghetti and cook for about 12 minutes or as directed on the packet.
  3. Meanwhile, chop the capers. Grate the lemon for the zest and squeeze it for the juice.
  4. Drain the tuna into a bowl so you can keep the oil. In another bowl, flake the fish with a fork and mix it with the chopped capers, lemon zest and lemon juice.
  5. Drain the pasta in the colander or sieve and toss it into the tuna mixture. Add the reserved oil and a grind of black pepper and serve.
